Jessie completed her undergraduate studies in exercise physiology at Florida State University in 2008 and went on to earn her Master’s degree in physician assistant studies from the University of Florida in 2011. She currently practices at Sand Lake Dermatology Center in Orlando, Florida where she enjoys treating a wide variety of dermatological conditions in adults and children.
Jessie has been active in the FSDPA since 2012. Soon after joining the board as a director-at-large in 2014, she created the journal club designed to engage fellow PAs in quarterly discussions on trending topics in our specialty. Jessie is honored to help lead the 9th and 10th annual New Wave Symposium and looks forward to working with our leadership team to offer new and exciting community outreach events and educational opportunities to our members.
After completing her bachelor’s degree at the University of Florida, Megan attended the physician assistant program at Nova Southeastern University and graduated with honors in 2011. After one year of practicing in the primary care setting, Megan trained in dermatology and has been practicing in the field ever since. She specializes in laser therapy and is particularly passionate about treating acne.
Megan has been an active member and volunteer for the FSDPA since 2012 and is very excited to join the board as a Director at Large.
Sandra L. Snyder, PA-C received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and Business from Northern Illinois University in 1983. She worked in television for 10 years as the Community Affairs Director at WTSP-TV. She returned to school and obtained a Masters of Physician Assistant Studies from University of Florida in 1999. Upon graduation, Ms. Snyder practiced two years in family medicine before specializing in dermatology with an emphasis in psoriasis, severe acne and hyperhidrosis.
Ms. Snyder is on the Board of the Florida Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and a member of the Florida Association of Physician Assistants. She enjoys being a preceptor for physician assistant candidates and provides clinical experience which helps ignite the future PAs excitement for the field.
Amber Blair has an extensive and diverse background in healthcare, spanning greater than a decade. After graduating Summa Cum Laude from the University of Central Florida’s CardioPulmonary Science program, she worked in a neonatal intensive care unit and quickly became a member of both the high-risk newborn delivery resuscitation team and the ECMO Perfusioning team. Driven to further her medical knowledge, Ms. Blair went on to graduate Cum Laude from Nova Southeastern University’s Masters in Medical Science of Physician Assistant Studies program, subsequently fell in love with the field of dermatology and hasn’t looked back!
Amber Blair now resides and practices in Winter Park, Florida alongside a fellowship trained MOHS surgeon. She has a passion for skin cancer surgery, however also thrives off of a busy and diverse schedule ranging from advanced cosmetic injectable procedures to complicated medical dermatology. She has spent a great deal of time creating an intricate niche, allowing her to maximize and diversify both her clinical practice and her impact in the future of healthcare. In addition to her busy clinical practice, Amber works with Nova Southeastern University’s Physician Assistant program as a preceptor, hosting students for their dermatology rotation, as well as guest lecturer and lab proctor on an adjunctive basis. She has been invited on multiple occasions to Rollins College to give guest lectures to faculty and staff, as well as enjoys going out into the community offering free skin cancer screening and education. She was also fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to go on a mission trip to Nicaragua with Miami Medical School, where they collectively provided medical care to nearly 1000 under privileged patients.
Amber is very grateful for where the journey of her career path has taken her thus far, and believes that it is extremely important to give back to the field of medicine and to the community. She is extremely grateful to have been invited onto the board of directors for FSDPA, and looks forward to many years of serving on behalf of dermatology physician assistants, both in the state of Florida and nationally.
Jessica M. Hage graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Pre-Clinical Allied Health and a minor in Health Services Administration. Jessica then went on to earn her Masters of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Nova Southeastern University, graduating with honors. She began her career as a PA in primary care, however found that her true passion is the field of dermatology.
Jessica has been active in FSDPA as a volunteer for the past two years. She is thrilled to be officially joining the board as a Director at Large, and looks forward to a great year serving with this wonderful organization.

Jeffrey Johnson, PA-C is a 1995 graduate of the US Air Force PA Program and is currently employed at Water’s Edge Dermatology in South Florida. For the past fifteen years, Jeff has worked in the MOHS department and has attended the prestigious Scripps Superficial Anatomy and Advanced Surgery Course three separate years. He mentors PA students nationwide in dermatological surgery, as well as lecturing for numerous societies and industry alike. Jeff’s continued dedication to the PA profession has lead him to be named 2005 Dermatology PA of the Year. Now, he is ensuring the success of the Florida Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants by serving as President.
Gina Mangin received her Bachelor’s of physician assistant studies from East Carolina University in 1999. She later received her Master’s from the University of Nebraska in 2007. She has been an active member of the SDPA since 2008. Gina has remained very active in the FSDPA and has been a board member for 3 years, including, director at large, secretary, Vice president and currently President. She enjoys giving back to the PA profession and volunteering her time to teach other PA students.
