The FSDPA Community Outreach Scholarship is open to all students currently enrolled in an ARC-PA accredited PA program in the state of Florida. The winner(s) of the FSDPA Community Outreach Scholarship will receive a $10,000 scholarship, as well as a $5,000 donation to the organization they wish to support. The winner will be provided free registration to our upcoming New Wave Dermatology Conference, one free night in the conference hotel, and the award will be presented live on stage.
Application Requirements
Must be a PA student currently enrolled and in good standing in an ARC-PA-accredited PA program in the state of Florida.
Completed scholarship application signed by PA Program Director
Submit an original (no AI) essay submission of 500 words or less in 12 point Times New Roman font addressing one of the following topics:
1. Promoting Skin Cancer Awareness and Prevention in Florida’s Outdoor Work Force
2. Addressing Dermatologic Disparities in Florida’s Underserved Communities
AND
In one paragraph, name a charitable organization focused on impacting or educating about a dermatologic topic you think deserves a special highlight and financial support. The winners’ organization of choice will receive a $5,000 donation from the FSDPA.
